HR Generalist:

David Price Metal Services (DPMS) is seeking an organized, energetic HR Generalist. The position will be tasked with the daily management of employee relations including but not limited to hiring, recruiting, conflict resolutions, training, orientation and onboarding. The HR Generalist will work closely with our Payroll and Safety Manager but should have a strong grasp of benefits, OSHA regulations and Human Resource Law.

The position also includes HR oversight of three other companies with small employee populations and one company located in Nashville, Tennessee. The additional companies work seamlessly with DPMS.

Qualified applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of Human Resources. A PHR certification is preferred but not required. The position is full time and comes with an attractive benefits package.


Electrical Engineer:

Key Functions:

Draft schematics and plans in AutoCAD Electrical 2013

Analyze prototype drawings

Communicate with Engineering Manager on design decisions

Coordinate with build and installation teams to ensure product quality

Inspect electric systems for compliance to design

Assist with start-up / debug of new equipment and systems


Fabricator:

Must have at least three years experience with heavy industrial fabrication. Qualified applicants will be required to show knowledge of fabrication “best practices” as well as demonstrate proper techniques. All new employees must also pass a drug test. Wage based on experience. Position is full time and benefits such as health insurance begin after 90 day probationary period.

Industrial Electrician:

David Price Metal Services is seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician for an immediate opening.
The position is responsible for repairing and maintaining large industrial equipment as well as facility maintenance in three separate buildings, all located in Norwalk. Tasks Include preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and some work with hydraulics and pneumatics. If you enjoy challenges and staying busy, this is the perfect position for you!
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
Position will be full time on an hourly wage. Overtime may be occasionally required. Benefits offered with the position include health insurance and other incentives.


Senior Mechanical Engineer:

David Price Metal Services is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This position is responsible for developing mechanical and electromechanical products and systems that meet our customers’ requirements.
Position overview:

  • Read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, schematics and computer generated reports.
  • Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and materials.
  • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods
  • Develops products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods / materials and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling and installing components.
  • Assures system and product quality through ongoing inspection and testing
  • Maintain technical accuracy of customer requirements and specific design details.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides engineering information by answering both internal and external requests.
  • Use of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk 2D and 3D CAD software
    Salary is commensurate with experience, and includes a benefit package.

Welder:
